Shop Till You Drop! Yeah. I know you're not supposed to shop online using company resources. But, if you're going to do it, you may as well save some money.

Re $15 rebate from PayPal when you spend $30

Thanks. I used to have a paypal account, but ran into some mess with them. Since then I have never used them again, but i know a lot of people who have no problems with the. I guess it was just bad luck with an ebay user.

Anyhow $15 or $30 is a great buy. I remember google checkout had $10 of $30 instant at one point from certain places. I shopped till I dropped at that time.

Re $15 rebate from PayPal when you spend $30

Melanie, where did that come from? I looked at it, but was a little concerned that it's not actually a PayPal site... and why would PayPal need me to give them my account name when they already have it?

On the PP homepage, if you click on the "$100 Million" promotion button, it takes you to the paypal.promotionexpert site.

Re $15 rebate from PayPal when you spend $30

If I was a generous and kind person, say, like Cindy, I'd do this promotion and buy something for Melanie because she always passes along such great deals. But I think I'll just be selfish and buy something for myself.

Okay, here's something REALLY weird... I had sent an email to PayPal asking them about the rebate, and the email I got back said it was not a PayPal authorized site!

It didn't take me to the site you linked though. Just going through links, I can't seem to get to the page you posted.

From what I dug out yesterday, this WAS originally linked right on the PP main page, but it's no longer there.

Still checking.

I wonder if the response was so overwhelming they decided they couldn't afford it?

I was pretty sure I got there from the main paypal page too.

Re $15 rebate from PayPal when you spend $30

I definitely saw the link on PayPal. I went and checked right after I first saw this thread. It was in an ad on the side.

If it's not "authorized" by PayPal, then they screwed up by letting it through, or they were fracked by their ad provider.

Re $15 rebate from PayPal when you spend $30

Apparently the Promotion Expert site is one that they've been hooked up with for some time now. I've run several searches that are a variation on "paypal rebate, legitimate" and "$15 paypal rebate, legit", etc. and the general feeling is that it is probably legit but a lot of folks are leery of the spam. PP and the promo company do work together, the ad was on the PP home page for a while, etc. They probably are getting so slammed that they took it off the home page. Maybe even hoping that by doing so, folks would start questioning it and not doing it because they're afraid it's a phish.

But I don't blame someone one bit if they feel uncomfortable enough not to do it, especially since they aren't going to release the rebates for a while. (It says as late as May 28th.)

If you got the actual email, did it use your name or just "Dear PayPal subscriber:"?

Re $15 rebate from PayPal when you spend $30

I just got there from the main paypal site.

Path is:

Paypal.com

See the ad with the sunflower on the right side that says "Presenting our $100 million promotion"

That takes you to this page:

More Sales. New Customers. More Traffic.
which explains the program to merchants and which contains this link:

http://paypal.promotionexpert.com/gr...list_ECS2.html - preferred shopping site with the "get the rebate" link:

https://paypal.promotionexpert.com/g...l?route=misc.s

Either it's legit, or paypal has been totally hacked

I registered for this at the beginning of the month, and have not received any "additional" SPAM, so I'm guessing it is legit.

So, apparently they've changed the rules! I just tried entering my email addy, and it tells me sorry, if you didn't get an email invitation, you're not eligible!
