I was going to buy Calphalon from Bed Bath and Beyond since I had a nice coupon for them and because they are close. Not to mention I needed pots and pans YESTERDAY so I wasn't waiting around for any stinkin' shipping
When I got there I found that the set I wanted was well beyond my means. So far beyond my means I wouldn't consider even buying a piece or two for now to hold me over until I could save for the whole thing.
Instead, I went down the shopping plaza to TJ Maxx. I bought the same general type and size of Calphalon pots and pans. I got more pieces than were in the set I was looking at. I paid 1/3 the price. Some of the pieces were on clearance even.
I was shopping with someone else and couldn't help but say things like "omg, it's $25 and it's Calphalon!" and before I knew it I had four other groups of people shopping for the same things I was.
So, TJ Maxx, just send me a pm, and I'll let you know where to send the commission check.
