So I'm having a Russia-themed fundraiser in September. Because it's a fundraiser, expenses need to be as close to zilch as possible. I've got the room decor (most of it), a caterer to check out, but I need favors. I thought I could get something super-cheap in Brooklyn, but no luck. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to help me find favors for no more than $1.50 each for 50 people... so far I've struck out!

this site has a lot to choose from but most is more than $1.50. The toothpick holders for $2 are cute and the wooden thimbles are adorable, but I'm not sure how much time you have to order and if they discount shipping. |

Nice! The only thing I came up with were Russian paper doll books from Dover Press. They were cute, but I like the vodka idea better!

 these coasters would be $1.50 each, not including shipping, but since the company is in Brooklyn, maybe you could just buy them there. Or, maybe they'll have other things that you could use.
