1. I'm curious if you guys are all familiar with "tole" paintings?
2. If you lived in a town with beautiful landmarks, would you buy items for yourself or others with said landmarks painted on them? Items may include paintings, trays, boxes, etc.
3. Would you put such items in your own home? |

So, I'm not the real consumer here.
People love stuff like this. The boardwalks at the Jersey Shore are full of them, and you can't rent a house that doesn't have local lighthouses proudly painted on something.

It all just depends on what it is and if I like it or if I thought someone would like it. Isn't that the way it is with any artwork?
