Remember the guy who said the Declaration of Independence was banned in classrooms?

Well, that case is now over.

The judge threw out three of the four claims. The teacher himself dropped the remaining claim.

When the teacher had first brought his lawsuit against the school district, it became a celebrated cause for the right wing pundits (including our own, in an extended thread here) with much breast-beating about how California was (1) viciously discriminating against Christians, and (2) so rabidly anti-American that the Declaration of Independence couldn't even be mentioned in the classrooms!

Well, that turned out to be a tremendous amount of ado about absolutely nothing.

Which I guess isn't surprising, but still, if all the energy that gets expended on these things that turn out, in the end, to be b.s. could be harnessed, we wouldn't be facing an energy crisis ...

Re member the guy who said the Declaration of Independence was banned in classrooms?

She said "breast!"

I dunno, I think the BS is worth something. It is the conservative pundit's best and most entertaining contribution to society.
