And in other embarassing Nebraska news.... State Senator sues The Almighty.
I'll refrain from commenting on Chambers' tendancy to spout off his mouth and scream "racist" every five minutes. As outsiders to Omaha, what do you think about his lawsuit and reasoning behind it?

I'm thinking he's going to have an awfully hard time getting the defendant to show up in court. Depositions are probably going to be pretty hard.
I'm also thinking that Nebraskans are probably wishing he'd show up in person to serve the papers.

The case that he's protesting is an interesting one too. I wanted to post it here but forgot to.
Tory Bowed filed suit because she prohibited from using the word "rape" in a sexual assualt case, the judge stating that it was predjudical toward the defendant. Right.
Did anyone bother to read the actual lawsuit that Chambers filed? It's quite the exercise in creative writing.

"Nobody should stand at the courthouse door to predetermine who has access to the courts," he said. "My point is that anyone can sue anyone else, even God."
Chambers, a political independent who has served in the Nebraska Legislature for 38 years, said he decided to make that point after at least two attempts by other senators in the Legislature to limit "frivolous lawsuits."
"I was able to fend them off," Chambers said. "A lawsuit is not frivolous until a court declares it so."
