RE: Today
Sucky. But better than yesterday. I am really really tired, and it seems to be the norm anymore. My leg and knee really hurt tonight. I have had ice on them, and now some heat.

I need a vacation.

RE: Today
Good day for me.

I finished my projects, then set up at the craft show, then had a home improvement project done (sssshhhhh) that has been bugging me for a long, long time.

Popcorn and pie for dinner. Watched stupid girl shows on TV. Going to bed early.

RE: Today
Mostly lovely, but emotional and tiring. FIL AND MIL were honored at a prayer breakfast this morning by a group and we were invited to come - 8:30 in downtown Montgomery. We got up at 6 and left before 7 and still almost didn't get there on time because it turned out we didn't know exactly where in the building it was, and where to park for it. But it was a lovely morning, and so nice to see them recognized for all their hard work, even if MIL wasn't there physically to share in it. Smile

Thanks for sharing, Slick.

My day was going pretty good until they paged us STAT to the ER. I hate ER deliveries.

Fortunately, it was a false alarm.

Mine was good. I worked in the morning and went to the city in the afternoon. I feel that it was a positive day.

is supporting your erection called "erectioneering"?

I don't remember anyone supporting my erection. I was just all warm inside because I felt the support for my mental health.

RE: Today
Ummm... with the direction this conversation is going, continuing it in the original direction seems a little superfluous, but I'll try.

Decent day, I guess. Still on the sofa, legs higher than heart, ice, exercise. The infection has moved to my ankle, which has put my walking and exercise back about a week. And I'm putting roots down from my tush into the spfa cushions.

Otherwise, all is well.

Hope we all get better days soon.

Margaret (PL) - what did I miss - obviously you hurt yourself and have some sort of horrible infection. I hope it's better very soon!

Today was a bad day. I think I'm just very down. Nothing happened - maybe that's the problem though.

RE: Today
Sorry, Wormie - I've been on FB with it and didn't track who here is also there.

I had a total knee replacement on 11/10. All was good until I developed a cellu7litis infection last week. That's all it is - I'm coming along fine but may die of boredom before I get better.

Sorry your day didn't bring you good news. I'm holding a good thought for positive change for you very soon.

Hope you heal quickly, Margaret! Cellulitis, I understand, is incredibly painful! I hope it gets better so you can enjoy the holiday with your family!

RE: Today
I can definitely vouch for the pain - my skin was hot enough to fry an egg. But it's getting better.

We bagged our T'giving plans because they involved a 450-mile drive - too much for me, and I'd lose my home nursing and PT care. So we'll be with friends here, which works fine for me. I always prefer to stick close to home for Thanksgiving.
