Thanks, y'all!
I started celebrating yesterday, by going to see the Chieftans at Symphony Hall in Boston, then going out on the town.
I usually celebrate the entire St. Paddy's weekend, since I'm not only half Irish (other half German, go figure) but also born at 11:58 pm on the 16th, narrowly missing St Paddy's Day... :
Birthdays are fun, but that's only because I stopped counting them...
Leslie <- I'm actually surprised that there aren't more March 16 babies here - usually there are clusters of them wherever I roam... |

There's my Irish toast for you and this evening's festivities. Have a good one Leslie.

| | Thank y'all again for all the wonderful happy wishes. My birthday weekend (hey, why stop partying at one day - birthdays are special, especially the one where you officially stop counting) has been a blast so far.
Friday was The Chieftans at Symphony Hall in Boston, followed by some Irish Pub hopping and preceded by Chinese (mm, crab rangoon, hot and sour soup, etc).
Yesterday I got a professional massage as a present (very good present, btw, for all you significant others out there looking to impress your honeys), a lovely dinner out and a surprise party at my local pub, and today my ILs have a surprise of some kind at their house, after we go to brunch in a bit. After that I get to go to a movie (this is a big deal - honey hates the theatre - people talk, kids yell, its sticky... very big honey sacrifice for moi).
So, it's been a good birthday weekend for someone who loves birthdays, but hates counting how many!
(Oh and one of my presents was a complete Lemony Snickett set - yay)
