Talking 1,001!

I've always been slightly puzzled as to how people manage to get the absolutely MASSIVE numbers of non-member hits, aside from filling review titles with pornographic content.

So even though it might be small change compared to most of the big hitting reviews, I'd like to announce that my article on the Ten Best Foreign Films Ever has broken the 1,000 non-member hits mark. OK, it's never even going to get into the most popular film reviews section, but I'm chuffed.

I'm still perplexed, however. Of all the reviews I've written, why is it that this one, written in December 2000 with the harmless title 'The Greatest Films You've Never Seen!' garner two or more hits EVERY DAY while so many of my other reviews are never read again after the initial flurry? I assume it's got a high listing on a search engine somewhere, but I really don't understand.

So, I'm going to have some coffee to celebrate!

Congratulations.

Most of my reviews top out around 150-200. Then there are the wierd exceptions. 600 non-member hits on my review of 'Vanilla Sky'. I could never explain that one either.

I notice the same thing happening with my collection of songs for all the girls I had crushes on, Ten For What Might Have Been (Colossal Crush W/O). It's about to be my second ever review to break the thousand mark. What's strange, though, is that I've been watching it, and every time the hits update, the n/m hits go up by 6 and only 6. Last five times the hits were updated it's gone up by 6. Sooo I dunno.

Oh yeah, congrats by the way
