| | Pat has miles of intelligence, a wicked sense of humor, and a love of travel (most especially in France). She's a dentist, and never fails to remind you to floss daily.
Pat's from Jersey. Likes low slung sports cars and art museums. She boxes at the gym for exercise.
She's beautiful, inside and out. Long flowing blonde hair, trim and active, always ready to try new wine or have some kinda fun. Loves to sing.
After a bad first marriage, Pat met a wonderful man. My friend Bob Pi. Her soul mate really. Marriage just around the corner.
Though I've known her for years online, we finally met in person a couple of years ago when our group all went to play in Vegas for a week. Was a wonderful week.
Pat's the one who finally was able to explain Schrodenger's cat in a manner that I almost understood.
You know I've been w/o internet for a while. Well, I finally cleared my back email. Had several old messages.
Pat died on April 22. Cancer. She was fifty-one years old. |

| | Well, I'll be walking for Pat. She didn't die of breast cancer, but that's all right. We never really followed rules well. She had her honeymoon in Vegas, well before she and Bob could marry. And I won't really be walking in memory, but in celebration of her life and beauty. Was the reason I put this in the limelight. To celebrate Pat.
Thanks Sara.

| | Thanks y'all. I appreciate your caring. It's wonderful to have friends.
Pat story -
One day we were all discussing regional cuisine. Pat swore up and down that people around her neighborhood would bring lime jello with bologna as a housewarming present.
:shudder:
We gave her hell about that forever.
So she showed up at the Vegas airport, after mondo messes of missed flights and lost luggage, tupperware gripped tightly in her hand. The container was full of lime jello with bologna.
Of course we refused to eat it. Wouldn't even let her pop the lid.

| | She sounds like a great person, Lynne. I'm sad that she's gone from your life, but happy that you had her in your life for a time. Thanks for sharing your memories - the lime jello incident was a hoot!
