Larry Brown Quits Sixers

Read all about it.

I'm not surprised. I'm amazed Brown put up with Iverson's act as long as he did, let alone stay with one team for six years.

But it seemed weird, even by Brown's standards, to be talking about coaching somewhere else next year at his farewell news conference in Philly. Even stranger for everyone in the Sixers organization to be so accepting of what was happening.

It is sometimes like a marriage with Larry and AI. They have been through so many ups and downs. I personally agree--I don't know why he put up with AI's antics, however--AI is an incredible basketball player, on the court. It is off the court that he angers me. Even on the court sometimes--but that is a story for another thread.

I liked Larry--he always seemed pessimistic--but he did bring our team some recognition. They just can't seem to go the extra "game". I don't know that it is his fault--perhaps a combination of problems.

So, how long will it be before he's fired by the Houston Rockets?
