| | You better not cry,
You better not pout I'm telling you why,
Santa Worm's returning to town.
I don't know if you're naughty
of if you logged what you ate,
But, I know the game is lots of fun
and I hope you'll participate! That's right, folks! It's that time of year again, when your friend Wormie puts on her Santa Cap and turns into Santa Worm! Many of you participated in last years first annual Secret Santa EA Virtual Gift Swap, and can attest to how much fun it was! This is not a Christmas gift exchange - it's not religious in any way (remember - Santa Worm is Jewish!) - its just a really great end of the year celebration and a way that we can have some fun with our e-friends here at EA.
How does it work?
Simple.
Post here in this thread if you'd like to participate! I'll put all you names in my Santa hat and pull matches for each of you (yes I really do have a Santa Hat, and yes I really do wear it for my official Santa Worm activities!).
I'll send each of you a PM to tell you who you're playing Elf for.
On Monday December 8th, the gift exchanging will begin. You will send an annonymous gift to your Giftee each day Monday thru Friday Dec 8th - Dec 12th. How do you do this? Easy - you PM Me (TheWorm) with your "gift". Make sure that the subject line of your PM says "Secret Santa Gift for so-and so" and the date. I will delete your name and forward the gift to your giftee.
Each day I will start a new Secret Santa Thread in the Games Forum. Each day when you recieve your gift, post it in that thread so everyone can see what you got.
This year, we'll make a little change - just for fun. After day 5, you can all take the weekend to review your gifts and make a guess as to who was your elf. Then on Monday December 15th, I'll open a day 6 game thread, and you can each post a gift to the person who you think is your Elf. You can't repeat a gift that that person has already received from their elf! Then everyone can tell if the guesses are right or wrong and reveal the truth.
Trust me - it'll be fun!
Last year our elves got very very creative! (You can look at last years game threads to see how it all worked - just search for "Secret Santa" in the Games forum and you'll find them).
Other rules? Not many. Gifts must be in good spirit! They can be thoughtful poems or songs, pretty pictures, material things, vacations etc. They can also be gag gifts but they must be sent in fun and they must not be XXX rated. Santa Worm reserves the right to "return to sender" any gift that is mean-spirited.
Anyway. Hope you will play!
If you have any questions - let me know.
If you'd like to play but you don't know how to do attachments of images or websites, my IS elves are here to help. Ask your question and you'll get a tutorial.
Ho Ho Ho and a Very Wormy Season to all! !santa |

I missed about 9 months of EA last year so this will be new for me. Should I leave a list here? | All you need to do now is let us know if you want to play. If you do, once everyone has signed up, I'll tell you who you have to "buy" for, and we'll be able to get started. If you have any questions - you can post them here or PM me.
It's a really fun game. |

| | Re: You better watch out! | | I'd love to play, but, alas, cannot commit this year. It's in the middle of finals, etc. and with my sporadic internet usage already, I'd best not participate. I will be peeking in to see how the gifting goes!

Loved the game, but the PC is acting up lately so I don't know how much I'll be around. I'll try, though. |
