...I am still dating a woman I met on Match.com in May. In fact, we just got engaged on New Year's Eve. I put the proposal on the big screen at the San Francisco Bowl at the park formerly known and PacBell while my beloved CSU Rams were getting their asses kicked.
Julie (my fiance) joked how it was every girl's dream to go to a football game on New Year's Eve, so I decided to give her one she wouldn't forget. They filmed the whole proposal and put it up on the jumbotron - the guy at the park who set it up said it was the loudest cheer of the night, because fans from both sides (like 25,000 of them) were cheering for us. Apparently everybody 20 feet in all directions were standing up and huddled over us - but I didn't notice.
People recognized us throughout the park and even at bars afterward. It was definitely a night to remember. |

Wow - that sounds soooo romantic. PM and I were sitting around in bathrobes, reading the paper, when he mentioned that we should start planning our wedding. I pointed out that he hadn't proposed yet. So he slid off the sofa onto one knew in his ratty old robe and proposed.
