Yesterday I was going to meet a friend, and took a route I don't normally travel. In Florida we have a gazzilion named and/or gated communities, and many of them advertise themselves as "active senior communities". Nothing wrong with that. Well, yesterday I drove past one that just had me in stiches. The sign said, "Welcome to Leisureville! an active adult community".
If that weren't bad enough, it's located right across the street from a large cemetary!
"One more day above ground!" What an elderly man says everymorning when he comes down to breadfast at the senior's residence where my mom lives.
