Did anyone watch this today? I am watching Elway get inducted, and there are 18000 fans from Denver there - they had to move the ceremony off the Hall of Fame steps to the stadium next door.
I have seen many of these through the years, but never one with so many people there and so enthusiastic.
I didn't see Elway's induction. But I did catch Carl Eller's speech, and I kept trying to imagine the locker room conversations that must have taken place between him and Alan Page. That had to be unbelieveable. What a pair of truely remarkable men.
I grew up watching Elway, one of my all time fav players in any sports.. Suffered threw the 3 SB losses in the 80's and while stationed in Korea, Njoyed the first SB win their against Greenbay, and then the ATL win the following yr. IMHO, one of the Best QB's to ever play the game....
