Things like this make me hope I don't die in a really stupid way. I mean, who wants their 15 minutes of fame for doing something so ignorant that it kills you?

A lava lamp features blobs of wax in liquid that rise and fall in a container when heated by a bulb at the base of the lamp.

One can only imagine. Poor guy. Mom should have let him in the kitchen once and a while.

Did you guys watch the video? I'm ashamed to say that I laughed so hard that I cried. G was watching with me and as they interviewed the one neighbor, she said "It just breaks my heart" to which he replied "I think it broke his."

You know, I'm still wondering if that newscaster actually turned on the burner when he turned the dial. Cuz THAT would have been a laugh riot... "Newscaster killed as he re-enacts tragic lava lamp explosion."
