| | Yesterday I got to spend the day with my Nephew (formerly known as The Poopster). He's 4 1/2 now, and is an absolute pleasure!!! I had so much fun with him (and his parents). I remember when he was born he was so beautiful. He was an adorable baby, and I thought - this isn't good. He's using up all his cuteness too young, but I was wrong! Heaven forbid I call him "cute" - he's a big boy - but he is happy, and thoughtful and loving and oh so wonderful! I wish I got to see him more often, but yesterday was just a perfect day. He was happy and cheerful all day until it was time to leave. He hates goodbye and said that it was only a little visit. Guess he'll have to come visit me again soon!! |

Lots of pics at home. I'll post some later. I also got some pics from his mom from his day at Disney on Tues - he met Mickey - and his first ski trip last week. He looks like a big boy. I suppose he is a big boy - how did that happen.
It's just so nice that we're a part of each others lives. I'm in Florida and he's in NY and I only see him a few times a year. He's starting more, but he doesn't like talking on the phone. Even though, he's always really excited to see me and sad to say goodbye. There was none of that akward getting used to me this time. He jumped up and down when I drove up to pick him up, and he was just a delight all day! He played with my Bogey a lot and even told me that he likes my new kitty (the Beast - who I'm so so proud of because he behaved nicely and even let my nephew pet him!!!!). |

| | Isn't it incredible how they manage to get cuter? I think it's one of the great mysteries of life!
I'm so glad you got to spend a day with him!

| | How wonderful- that sounds like such a fantastic day! And mind yourself, Wormie- the Beast is a very sweet-natured cat who is simply misunderstood.

| | The Beast is sweet, but he is strong, somewhat Psycho, and has fleas!
I gave all the kids flea med last night. Let's all pray.
The Beast is sweet, but he is very demanding. He must be snuggled, but if you do something a tiny bit wrong, he bites, and he bites HARD. He's been a good boy though. I picked him up and let my nephew pet him, and he didn't freak out. |
