Remember that when it's midnight and you're scrambling to file a story by deadline.

Wouldn't it be funny if there were typos in your copy?
You must, must, must submit bogus copy filled with spelling errors. You must.
Of course, have the real thing ready before they fire you.

| | Re For all my friends who are working hard at their desk jobs | | I wanted a nap today badly. I had to go into the city, to a stupid convention. The one class I went to was so bad, I left. Lock, stock and barrel. It was horrible. The worst part is that I have to go back to this convention tomorrow. At least the exhibitors will be open, they are always worthwhile. I was surprised they weren't open today. Ugh. We took the train into the city, but there was no parking at the train station here in the "burbs". My son drove us to the station, and then picked us up in the afternoon. He is a good boy.

| | Re For all my friends who are working hard at their desk jobs | | Sounds like there are some new telecommuters.
Sara, are you a reporter now? (Are you a radio reporter, by any chance? My sister's good friend has been reporting on 1010 WINS for years...)
Amy, are you a writer, too?
I'm kind of going the opposite way. I still give piano lessons at home, but when I took a job as music minister in a local church last year I'm outside the home more, too (especially Sundays.) |

No, not at all. Still at the same job I've been at for the past 11 years.
Still commuting every day. Except the office moved. I'm now on the Grand Central instead of the LIE.
