Well, I'm glad that it wasn't your daughters, but there really is not much cuter than baby skunks! |

I love skunks. I want a baby skunk. Dixie loves skunks too, only she seems to be partial to fully grown (and fully loaded!) adults.
I love that picture! |

| | Re Daddy! Daddy! Look, Kittens!! | | We were just talking recently about how we've never seen skunks except when they're road kill or in a zoo. We know we have a lot around 'cause we smell them, but they're awfully shy and retiring creatures.
The babies are just too darn cute.

| | Re Daddy! Daddy! Look, Kittens!! | | I only wish our skunks were shy and retiring. Ours live under the front porch and walk around the neighbourhood at night. 'Night' can be very loosely defined on some evenings, and our skunks sit on the porch and groom themselves. And when they do, what are we going to do about it- yell and chase them? |

| | Re Daddy! Daddy! Look, Kittens!! | | skunks are cute, and de-sented they are not bad pets.
Cindy, my mom once created a skunk and racoon feeding trough by accident, she did a wet plant garden in a tub in the front yard and put goldfish in it.
she feels guilty about the poor goldfish.

| | Re Daddy! Daddy! Look, Kittens!! | | Fridai, we did that, too. My first pond was a large ceramic pot filled with water and planted up with water plants. I bought some big goldfish, which were gorgeous. They were tame because we trained them to come up to the top and get food when we'd tap on the side of the pot.
One morning, I came out to have my coffee and talk to my fish, tapped, and nothing happened. I found fish bits on the grass near the back fence. We don't have fish in the pond any more. |
