It looks great! Maybe just needs to be a bit more narrow on the round part of the hat which will emphasis the pup a bit more? I really envy all of you with creative talent.

Can you tell me where it should be more narrow? You mean around the bottom or on the sides.

And thank you. There is a program that helps create the graph so that wasn't too tough, but I'm not good with the actual crafting part - it's complicate. I see some people's graph work and its AMAZING! Maybe someday, but I don't know if I have the patience.

I just want this one to look good because I'm going to share the graph as a charity pattern.

Geez, you just amaze me, Delia. What a great project, and what a great logo! (Congrats to Sara, that is just incredibly cute!!!)

It looks great to me. Maybe a bit narrower around the top of the hat, but it's just fine the way it is.

It's nearly impossible to be spot on with graph patterns. That's just the nature of the beast. (No, not Scooter.) You came about as close as you could with yarn of that thickness. Bravo!

It's awesome! But having seen the original logo first, I think my eyes were conditioned to see the dog in the sample below the logo so I can't tell you what might need to be adapted or changed.

Delia, I think you should ask some people who haven't seen the logo what they think. With both pictures so close together it's human nature to 1. recognize what you are doing and 2. to compare the two. I don't think that's very helpful to you.

I think it would be more helpful to see without the two together because it is the only way you'll know how easily distinguishable the design is, and, if there is an area that needs work, it will be because it just wasn't as clear, not because it's not matching up exactly with the picture.

I hope I'm making sense.

I must say, I'm amazed. I don't see anything that needs to be changed, but, I wonder if I would say that if I saw it on its own, and I wasn't familiar with the logo already.

Sara and Delia, you both did a great job. I'm in awe

Yes, without the logo the graph is probably harder to "read". Your brain wouldn't ordinarily process a dog in a hat, but I'm hoping that if donations are sent with a logo card (and Sara's logo is too too cute) that it will be ok. Still, I don't want to let myself off the hook if I can make it better.

Margaret - you and I posted at the same time, but I think I agree with what you said. I don't know that anyone would recognize it without having seen the logo, but I want it to be easily recognized as the logo.

Delia - you continue to amaze me! That is awesome. Like the others, I probably recognize it because I've seen the logo, but I think it's still recognizable as what it is. And, like you said, most donations will be sent with something on the logo, so people will remember that when they see the crocheted version.

Wormie, you are so amazing. Everything you make is so beautiful.

I'm working on a knitted afghan pattern with USMC knitted down one side and BABY down the other. So far, I've done more ripping out than knitting. I thought about MARINE CORPS KID but by the time I'd finished figuring out and knitting that, the kid would be in kindergarten. I do have one finished bootie though.

you can't see mistakes in the photo, but I think the graph can work. I'm curious to see how it looks it knit. I think its probably best for cross-stitch and needlepoint, but it was a fun challenge!
