| | Re Easy Bake Ovens on recall | | I almost bought one of these last week. I was so happy to see a new non-microwave style, and I wanted to get it for my daughter.
I wonder who thought to put a link to "HOT" toys in the middle of a story about children getting burned by toy ovens. Quote:
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Toy manufacturer Hasbro and the Consumer Product Safety Commission on Tuesday recalled 985,000 Easy-Bake toy ovens after finding that kids' fingers can get caught in the oven's opening, thereby posing serious risk of burns.
The CPSC said it has received 29 reports of children getting their hands or fingers caught in the oven's opening, including five reports of burns.

| | Re Easy Bake Ovens on recall | | No, there is apparently a problem with the latch, kids are getting their hands stuck and/or cut. Of all the cases, 5 also suffered burns, presumably when their hand was too close to the bulb. | | |
