How Was Everyone's Day?

Ours was pretty fun. We went to Happy Feet at the cheap theater(three tickets, popcorn and soda only set me back $16.85!) Then we walked around the mall.

Sears had a BOGO sale on Women's and Children's clearance shoes. I got two pairs of shoes for me(one Lands End Tennis shoes one pair of dress flats for work) and a pair for both the kids. For $32 ttl!

We had #4's birthday party today. Gary and Helen each got him a TMNT toy which walks and growls. You should see the kitties!

I was pretty well whipped. I came home from work and crawled into my bed. I got up about 4, showered and went to church. Bob had put in a turkey breast while I was sleeping, so it was done when we got home. The kids who'd gone to the earlier service got to fix sides, so I didn't have to do anything but carve the turkey. Overall pretty good day, but I slept too long and I'm going to have trouble getting to sleep tonight.

I showed CW 2.0 one of the "eris only" things that Spacy told me was just TOO HARD for anyone to understand. She gets it. She need practice, but she gets it.

Not too great. I woke up with my sinuses all icky and hurting from the dry furnace heat. (Some warm days, now it's blackberry winter, so the heat's back on.) It turned into a low-level migraine complete with mild nausea. It wasn't enough to keep me from doing anything, just enough to make me miserable ALL day long - eyes hurting, head hurting, queasy....

Bleh.

Good day here. Church and choir in the a.m., went to the retirement home and helped seven ladies make bracelets. They were very proud of their handiwork.

Jeremy was a huge help, and then we went down to the nursing home and he helped with the church service there. Bought him ice cream as a treat, came home and finished up some jewelry projects I'd been itching to do.

Today I am off (took vacation to get some things done) and just relaxing in my PJs at the moment!

Well, somehow over the weekend I pulled my back out again. I really don't have a clue what happened. So Sunday was suckie, my back really hurt. I took some pain meds, and it helped but it still hurt.

I slept ok, and this morning decided to try school. I did ok, and the day wasn't all bad. Kids were remarkable sedate--could it be they received report cards on Friday, and possible got some eye opening responses from their parents????

Thanks, I do feel better today. I have been eating a cup of pineapple to help with the arthritis, every day. I didn't eat it over the weekend, could it be that my body has started to depend on the benefits of the pineapple??? I am back eating it again, and am feeling better.
