| | Yesterday was the first day of spring, and it is DEFINITELY spring here! The blackberries are blooming, and we slept with the AC on low in our room last night. Probably could have gotten by with just the back window open and the fan on, but DH was feeling pretty rotten with sinus junk, and I figured a roomful of pollen probably wouldn't help matters.
At one point yesterday, I was looking out the front door, and the little tiny white blossoms off the trees across the street were blowing all over the place so that it actually looked like snow if you squinted really hard. But it sure doesn't feel like snow!
Yippee!!!!

| | Re Spring, sprang, sprung! | | It was 83 here today. The grass is greening up and the field across from me is currently full of sea gulls. ( I guess it's better than the crows that are usually there, they scare me. But when I emerged from a nap and see all these white blobs, hundreds of them, in the field, it was a little odd.)
I don't see buds on the trees yet, but they will be coming soon.

| | Re Spring, sprang, sprung! | | Very rainy here this week, but also pretty warm. The grass is getting really green, and will probably need to be mowed this weekend or next. Trees are getting buds, and some of the new grass is starting to come up. And I have flowers coming up too! Yay! I can't wait to start playing with the camera again this year.
