Monday Night At the Movies

I want to try something. EA Movie Night. Monday night is my only night consistently free, so that's why I am picking that one. I propose we pick a time where EA members in North America can all rent and watch the same movie.

It will be a late night for the East Coasters to make sure we all can have a Live Movie Thread about it (or I can give the joiners the password to my Blog Chat Room for Live Chat). Because of the monumental task of choosing a movie, getting it, making sure you block off some time, etc I think is only feasible about once a month.

I propose we sign up here in this thread.

Guidelines:

PG, PG-13 or R rated movies
Round Robin Selection (once we have the group picked, each month one person selects three movies to choose from and we vote on the one we want in a poll - I'd go first)
People can join the group anytime, their name just goes at the end of the Round Robin list
Movie Start Time: 9:30 PM Eastern Time, 1st Monday of Every Month (this means April 2, 2007 would be the first one)

Sign up in this thread, and I'll post our first movie choices tomorrow.

Edited to add: if you want the movie night to be the 1st Friday of each month, I'd have to make the start time 10:30 PM or later.

I'd love to - if I can start late. I am utterly addicted to 24.

However, I am always interested in seeing new movies, so count me in, if you'll spot me that half-hour.

It's easier for me to start at 10:00 most nights too, but I was trying to include the people with heavy workloads on weekdays.

I think it sounds like fun...Mondays are not good for me until May, and 10:30 is probably pushing it to be done (considering a 2-hour movie) and then discussing after.

But I'd love to give it a try!!! (I'd vote for Friday over Monday, if I have a voice.

)

Friday also works for me. I have nothing to do on Friday evenings, and usually #1 is off doing stuff with his friends so I am home and looking for soemthing to do.

and Friday is fine as long as it is LATE. I am never home before 10:30 any night but Monday.

Oh- discussing it furing would be brilliant! I misunderstood, but that's so cool.
