| | why are you speachless?
I buy Hanukah paper for my nephews gifts. This is just like Christmas paper. For a Bar/Bat Mitvah of Jewish Wedding....
I've seen wedding paper with a cross on it.... |

| | I've seen Hanukah wrapping paper and even bows in a lot of stores around here. I'm not sure why you'd be surprised either. This is not a community that has a very large Jewish population either. |

| | But, Jewcyfied???
Why do I suddenly have ALW in my head?
And I would love to do Jewcyrumours. Well, except that I hate Woody Allen. Never mind. |

| | Ok, you're right, Pippa- you can be speechless. The bris card? The one which says "Snip snip snip, mazel tov, and more snip snip snip"? OMFG! We never got bris cards. Thank God. |

| | What I find particularly odd is the logo. A martini glass? Martinis are a goyishe drink.
Really.
Okay, yeah, so I drink them. But I haven't been Jewcy in years.

JewcyWrap was founded by Daphne and Don Yousem — a nice Jewish couple with two amazing boys who live in Southern California. Daphne has always had a knack for clever design paired with a little bit of quirky.
| They're from Southern California - they're "quirky". 'nough said. Quote: - Thou shalt provide Jewcyliciously designed products.
- Thou shalt not covet thy non-Jewish neighbors’ bountiful choice of holiday wrapping paper.
- Honor thy customers.
- Thou shalt provide great service.
- Thou shalt make the package more interesting than the gift (or at least try).
- Thou shalt help others to raise funds for their organization or school.
- Thou shalt never give out our customers’ personal information – your privacy is our priority.
- Thou shalt not steal designs from JewcyWrap (all are copy written – so don’t even think about it).
- Thou shalt kill the competition with fabulous products.
- Have Fun!
| The "snip snip" is awful thought I know some fathers who would laugh at it, but other than that I think what they offer is nice - the names are marketing are "quirky" but.... I'm SantaWorm - who am I to talk about quirk? |

| | No.. not the wrapping paper.... you forget I live in a town with at least a 1:1 ratio for synagogues to churches. You should see my girlfriend and I in November... I have the "mostly snowmen and one roll of Hannukah paper" collection and hers is reversed. We're often swapping paper. It was the "jewcy" bit that had me floored. And the bris cards. |

The "jewcy" is odd and quirky, but it doesn't offend me.
I find that non-Jews someone think that saying He/She is a Jew is a bad thing to say. It's ok to say "He's Jewish", but so many people think calling some "a Jew" is bad. Fact is, I'm a Jew - just like someone may be a Christian. It actually scares me that some people think "Jew" is an insult.
Snip snip card - I won't be buying one.
"Jewcy" - doesn't attract my business but won't cost them my business either. |

| | That's interesting about what you say about using the word Jew. We have a Jewish boy in our school that is totally offended when a teacher or a student uses the word Jew in any context. He's even gotten a few kids in trouble with the principal because of it. I just figured it must be something that I shouldn't say. I'm glad to hear that my feelings about the word and yours is the same. |

| | I like when people can say "jew" without flinching, because it's a perfectly wonderful title, just like 'Christian'. Once #1 was helping to teach at our karate school, and sensei told a smart-ass kid that if he didn't get it together, #1 was going to go Jew all over his ass.
Ok, so that doesn't mean anything, but it scared the kid half to death, and #1 was able to continue to teach. After he stopped laughing and coughing, that is. |

| | I think what Pippa might be thinking is akin to a Christian calling themselves "Christalicious".
It wasn't the "Jew" but the "Jewcy"
