I gotta pat myself on the back...I entered a contest again this year, and this time, took not only a "top pick" but an Honorable Mention! Rings N Things 2007 "Your Design Rocks!"
I can't get links to the actual pages, but look at the 2007 Contest Results under the HM's (Mostly Metal category) and "Polly's Picks" (Mostly Metal again...I'm just a metal head  ) and you'll see my two pieces.
And this time, I actually WON something - GC's for Rings N Things so I can make even more stuff!!!

Thanks for the direct link, Pippa...I was just getting the main pages. 
And thanks everyone for your encouragement! I was so excited when I got the first one that I scared the dog and my husband ...then I came home three hours later and found the notification for the second one. I certainly never expected to place for more than one piece!!!

Thanks guys....and Cindy...OMG....you are a funny one.
The other piece that I submitted and didn't place is actually one of my favorites...the necklace combines Byzantine with a modified "Bees into Butterflies" weave and labradorite beads, and the bracelet is a Half-Persian 3 in 1.
If you think those names for chain are funny, you should see "This is Not Food" or "Rhino Snorting Drano"

Actually, I saw some necklaces in that style only without, say, the flowers. It was tons of strands of ribbons and sort of fuzzy yarn like that... they looked really cool and arty. |
