See first they'll send you the pictures, then they'll explain how expensive it is to send the puppy to you and so you'll need to send $$$$ to their African account, but then that won't be enough for the paperwork and mandatory kennelling, and so you'll have to send more $$$$....

Now it seems they've decided to appeal to parents. I had two emails in my spam folder calling me "mom" - "Mom, did you get my last email?" and "I need your advice, Mom". Nothing like parental heartstrings to get you to open spam, eh?

I use gmail and honestly don't even see most of my spam. Once in a rare while something gets through, but then my apple mail client usually grabs it and throws it in its spam box.

At work I have a Spam folder and the system automatically shunts a lot of email there, but I have to scan it before I dump the folder - too many state newsletters and other distribution list mailings end up in there.
