This happened to my cousin. She said she could hear the spider's heartbeat in her ear. She saved the spider too, and it was not nearly as small as you would think it would have to be. Just thinking about it totally skeeves me out. I hate spiders.

in Italy there is a way to say (gross, vulgar, coarse, in order to say the true)
in provincial language of Rome, that one refers to the fact that if a girl has the cloth of the spider in.....  ehem... cough cough..... wants to say that it is often not met with the boys

No lie when I was in college one of my roommates got a beetle in her ear. She had to be rushed to a big hospital to have it removed. The local one did have the facilities. They wound up killing the beetle, but her ear was too inflamed to remove the bug. They had to wait a week. She was so grossed out.
