Had to Re-Do My Forum

This could have gone in the Writing forum, or in the Technology forum, but I put it here because I believe there are a lot of people who want to write out there, but don't, who wouldn't normally check those places.

I have a Writing blog, and a matching writing forum (similar to EA, but not nearly as popular - lol). I recently got overrun with spam, and so I had to completely delete the writing forum and start from scratch. I re-made it from the ground up.

This means I had to start my membership from scratch also. If you were one of my members before, you will have to re-register, sorry. If you didn't come over and check it out before, please do. Writers of all levels are welcome. It's a way to pick my brain for advice, and a place to find jobs, freelance opportunities, contests, and grants for writing.

I hope everyone interested in writing, either as a a strictly fiction writer or a working writer, will visit. I'd love it if those of you, like Amy and Auntie Emma, who are journalists will sign up also - I don't offer much journalistic advice since I've been out of the newspaper field for so long.

For the curious, there were two free php links that led to multiple free php mods, which were instrumental in solving my spam issue on my forum. I was getting literally 100s - 1000s of spam registrations and posts a day on it, which was impossible to keep up with. Adding a few of these mods have completely eliminated all spam so far.

I highly recommend checking them out. The people over there are super helpful and nice. The mods for vbulletin did work on my phpBB2 forum, for the curious.

Yeah, Leslie keeps me around not so much for writing advice or anything, but to laugh at the crazy clients I get.
