The downside of teens on 'My Space'

A classic case of why teens still need some adult supervision...

Annie Lennox's daughter gives a party

I love how the commenters think it can't happen here. Not MY kid.

Wow. Impressive amount of damage. More appalling is the other party briefly mentioned in the article where the people had moved out of a house to rent it an it got trashed by strangers. That bothers me because honey buys houses, fixes and sells them, and they stand empty while listed. Shudder.

I'm absolutely stunned. I can't even imagine what the parents must be feeling right now. Why would those other kids behave that badly?

As a professional in higher education, you'd be surprised at the amount of bad behavior amongst 'good' kids. The generation has been protectected and coddled from the world and the unintended consequence of this sparing of feelings in the name of self esteem is a sense of entitlement and a separation from understanding that actions have meaning and consequences for good or ill.

I'm telling you... back in the day, you did something like that and your parents would beat your ass. Now? Obviously, Billy was stressed about something and needs understanding.

I was outside on the porch working tonight and heard one of the neighbor kids SCREAMING at the parents like they were lackeys. Ridiculous.
