Back to work tomorrow. Today it's laundry, mowing, cleaning, grocery shopping and car oil changing. Seems none of it could be done while I was gone.  At least the house was pretty much picked up and there weren't many dirty dishes.
Yesterday we drove and drove and drove. Even the dog got car-claustrophobic after a time. We've already decided that next year's trip will be Yellowstone, but I'm going to have to rethink and replan the driving. I don't think there were any twelve hour days back to back, but it ain't going to happen again in my lifetime if I can help it. Stopped in KC to visit Bree and Nick...they picked up Chinese and we ate on the deck while I shared pictures and the dogs assaulted each other. Really a nice layover.
And then back in the car. Home by 11:00, Rex recognized the road turning into Weston and started having hysterics in the car. It was pretty funny. He couldn't let Daddy sleep and had to go in and jump all over him.
Would I do it all again? Well, here's the answer....when we got to our exit on the Interstate, I was tempted to just continue down I80 where we started May 25. Jeremy was all game too.  I'm calling it The Kvigne Triangle trip, and it was grand.
Pictures to come, as soon as I get time to resize them. They are all on my laptop...I should be able to work on them tonite when Jer's at karate.

First off, the boys (sans #1, who was inside doing Important Work) on the day we went to the beach. 
They looked too serious, so I told them they could act goofy. Note #2 and #3 have not changed expressions.

We had to cozy up to get all our big heads in that photo. And Nancy (in the green) was choking us.
Melanie IS beautiful and gracious and has the cutest little giggle. And hubby is a super nice man - so easy to talk to!!
Rex is the biggest slut for tummy rubs you've ever seen. And he loved that beach at Cindy's....ran up and down like he'd never been off a leash in his life! At first he'd come back when I called, then he started having teenager selective hearing, so he had to be leashed again.
