Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the Daddies out there!!! What did you/will you do to celebrate?

Hubby got a card from the cats (funny, they never get ME any MOTHER's Day card...). We went out to dinner today. Got Hubby's dad some cubavera shirts that he seemed to like. Seemed like the Dads in the party had a good time. Hope everyone else's day is just as happy!

Re Happy Father's Day!

My brother-in-law eats EVERYDAY but we semi-celebrated Father's Day today for my dad. We three daughters got him (and my mother) an outdoor log swing. They have always sat in lawn chairs out in the garage to watch the cars go by...now they have a comfortable swing.

I'll go back tomorrow with their groceries and give him his card.

My kids plan to call my husband in Scotland tomorrow to wish him a good day. We celebrated last Wednesday night before he left with a cookout but I know he'll be happy to hear from them.

Happy Father's Day to all of you that are one

Re Happy Father's Day!

Yes Happy Father's Day.

We usually take Hubby out for breakfast on Father's Day, except we couldn't do it today, because it is also Missy's birthday, and Birthday trumps Father's day. Soooo, a quick change of plans, we are going out for a late lunch/early dinner. They had to decide where--chose Bennigans, so Missy can start her beer card. Works for me. The boy child is baking a carrot cake. Momma is just watching it all happen.

Re Happy Father's Day!

We had a quiet Father's Day, with food mostly provided by Gary: shrimp, pasta salad and deviled eggs leftover from another party. I baked chicken strips to go with. We all ate, and took naps, and then Gary and Marty took a walk. Very quiet. We'll be more exciting next year!
