I have the computer in my living room just so I can keep an eye on things, make sure #4 isn't giving strangers directions to our house, etc. Still, every one in a while I still like to look through the history and check out everyone's 'favourites' file. I never find anything interesting, but it still seems like a good idea.
Only, on Friday night I was looking through the favourites, when something sort of stood out. I had to look twice, because I just couldn't believe what I saw. Because 'butt rings' is not something you'd necessarily want to see on the kids' computer.
I called #2 over and asked what I would see when I clicked that link. He insisted he had no idea. Since he is not #4, his poker face is not so good, so I was almost ready to believe him. Except that, you know, butt rings...?
Gary called just then, and I must have sounded awful, because the first thing he did was to ask what was wrong. I asked him what he would think if he found a website for butt rings bookmarked on his computer.
After he could stop laughing long enough to talk, he said that he would probably think that two chain maille fanatics had used my computer recently. Like, say, Lynn and my friend Russ, who also makes chain maille. And Russ, always helpful, had added the website so that Lynn could find it later.
