Today is our wedding anniversary. ( I actually just typed weeding, but I corrected it)
It is 23 years, and today is the 23rd. Missy says it is our "golden" year, 23 years on the 23rd. Anybody know anything about this??? Is is a good thing??
23 years. I got a beautiful pair of earrings. Really pretty.

Thanks folks. He gave me a beautiful pair of tricolored earrings. I went shopping with Missy today and bought a few more pair of earrings. Got a killer of a sale.
We went out to dinner too. It was very nice. Hard to imagine it has been 23 years. I'm feeling my drinks.
I never realized until Missy said it this morning--23 on the 23rd--I guess I am slow.

No flowers this year Amy. I asked for jewelry instead. I am still wearing my earrings!!!
And I got something I value even more. Him alone. We went to dinner, and it was just the two of us. I realized something tonight, that since the kids have gone to school, and we had relearn "us" again, it has gotten even better. We had a lovely dinner. Now we are waiting for the boy child to come home.
