on my crochet site I had put the EACares blog link in my sig line. We haven't been EACaring since the marine corp afghan, but I never updated my sig.

Anyway I wanted to tell you regarding your EAcares quote in part of your signature.. it has been bugging me what does this EA mean.. and I was sitting thinking and thinking while crocheting and multitasking.. lol.. and it came to me.. is this not the disorder babies are born with that is, they have a defective esophagus, where one part is not connected and they have to have a feed tube.. I can't find anything on the net and don't remember what it is actually called, but surgery and terrible times for the little babies.. So nice you are involved with this theraputic volunteer work,

Very odd that the first thing that comes to her mind when she sees EA is esophageal atresia. NEVER would have occurred to me, and I've seen it a few times.

Hey, at leat you remembered the name!!! All I could come up with was pyloric stenosis in my uncaffeinated state and I ws wondering how that related to EA.

And in the category of incredibly freaky, I sent a friend an email the other day to ask him if they ever found out what his problem was with swallowing and he's got "esophageal achalasia," which I thought was the EA we were talking about here. We're not, but it's freaky-close, no?
