Sorry about dropping out of sight. Major computer crash, followed by bronchitis and then life overwhelmed. I have home internet availability again (possums and wires are not a good mix, especially when they chew in more than one place) and so I'm not depending on a firewalled computer that blocks EA.
I missed you. All of you.

Possums are squirrels on steroids. Uglier too. And when they chew through electrical wires and die under your house, you will pay the neighborhood kid half your monthly salary to crawl underneath and retrieve the body. Gross doesn't even begin to cover it.
When my computer got fixed, they installed a spam blocker. So far, I have 15,000 spam messages that made it through the filter. And stuff that people sent and I know is out there hasn't downloaded. Grrrr. Technology - love it, hate it.

I was scrolling through my cell phone today and saw your number. I almost called to see what you were up to.
We don't like possums either, for different reasons. They carry a lot of disease, some are especially fatal to horses.

Harley is a cranky old lady now. She is still addicted to Greenies and wakes me up in the middle of the night in hopes that I'll go get her one.
Shane is working and thinking about reenlisting. Sigh. He misses the Corps and I'm hoping that if he goes back in, he'll at least go to college first. It's so nice to have him back in town.

Nice to see you again Deb. Lots has happened.
Glad to hear that Shane is back at home. My dad has been out of the Corps over 50 years now, and he still misses it.
My two are home now, Teddy just for the summer. Marissa graduated in May and is working for a pharmaceutical giant--as an analytical chemist. She loves it. I am not doing anything for the summer. I need down time. It was a long and rough year.
