I had company. I spent the day with my Goddaughter and her sister. I met them early in the AM, and Mom and I did the tradeoff. As soon as we got to my house, they wanted to go into the pool. We waited until 10 AM. There was no holding them back. The pool, then lunch then the park, then the pool again, then some quiet games--NOT--more swimming, a snack break, some TV, more swimming--and finally it was dinner time.
I am not sure they had their land legs by the time dinner came around, but I know their cheeks are rosy and they are tired!!
We had a great day and the weather cooperated!
Now, protect me folks. We sent them home with nail polish and new jewelry. Every little girl needs plenty of nail polish in the summer, right??? I don't know what Amy is planning, but she claims she will get even with me!!!!

Actually, Cindy the kids are great. They have so much energy. They love coming to my house. I don't have a clue why.
And it is such fun tormenting their mother!!

Do you have pictures from today? They are such cute little girls, and I can just imagine how they must have looked by the end of the day. Was it sort of the 'tired little angel' look? |

Only the youngest one is our Goddaughter. The older one, Kate, is not. But she wants to be our goddaughter.

How did I miss this thread? Yes, I will get even. I've told them no more manicures for a week. They have to leave the current polish on. Sarah babysits them now though, and she's into that kind of stuff so they can get it out of their system with her.
