| | I doubt there will be a BOC since they just had one earlier this month and there was one during the last WootOff. But I could be wrong - there's a first time for everything.

| | The ubiquitous Roomba is back up at the moment.
Bree, did your last BOC come via FedEx SmartPost? Mine's been shipped, and it's in Atlanta right now, but there is no package information like say, weight, included. I'm dying to know if it's normal size or something along the lines of something juicy.

| | Melanie, read that BOC FAQ that's out there. The weight is arbitrary, and usually doesn't correspond to actual BOC weight. |

| | Nope, mine came FedEx Ground, even though according to the tracking page it was supposed to come FedEx Home. I thought they used SmartPost when you have a PO Box or some other reason that FedEx can't deliver to you. I've heard they don't list weights, and can take a lot longer than regular FedEx, but I don't have any experience with them.
And yes, weight is totally arbitrary. Generally there's a set weight for those who ordered one, two, or three, but never corresponds to what's actually in your box. My weight said 7.5, but I doubt if it was actually two pounds. The first box I got I think said something like 3 pounds, but was much, much more than that.

| | Ah.
I think they just switched over to SmartPost a couple of weeks ago, plus I've never ordered anything from them before anyway. I'm not sure if they switched to SmartPost for everything, or just for the BOCs to save money.
Nope, not a bit anxious. Not me.
