I am working. Trying to make plans to get a piano from my brother's house to my house (200 miles) while keeping hubby and my mother happy. Tomorrow is a holiday so I'm off work. Will I get to spend in lounging in the sun with a cool drink in hand? Ha!

I am painting the trim in the bathroom. The rain seems to have subsided right now, MJ I think you are getting what we missed. I have more paint on me right now. We have a very cool breeze, almost an autumn breeze.

A consolette size I believe it would be called, so upright but not full size and not grand! Pioneer Day. Utah state holiday, I get it off even though I'm in Idaho because I work for the Pioneers. 
I'm glad I'm not painting, I'll say that much.

It's cold here, too, Angie. It's been feeling like fall for about three weeks now. I can't wait till summer.
#4's new look will be posted in the Horsemen thread directly. I must be having a Bad Brain Day, because I could have sworn I started that thread already. It doesn't even involve HP! |

I just made dinner. I decided it was about time I cooked some of the veggies in my crisper. More zucchini and some asparagus. I'll eat the asparagus another time. I probably should have eaten something in addition to the zucchini, but, I didn't feel like it :p
It's been down pouring since I woke up. I hope it will let up. But then again, I'll take this over hot weather. |

It's sunny and perfect in Michigan. It has been hot and humid but about 80 today and I love it. I had blood drawn this morning  then I worked all day with my husband on sending out golf letters to line up golfers and contributors to his annual golf outing that he does to raise funds for the Italian club he belongs to. Then to WW and home now. But, the weather is wonderful and maybe you all east of me will get it soon |

Played hooky half the day. Went in to work. Made earrings. Signed on a loan for a tractor that doesn't exist. Got oil changed. Cursed at camera because the batteries died and I can't find a charger OR AA batteries in the house. Cleaned up studio in hopes of finding charger or AA batteries (no such luck). Getting ready to eat dinner and pack my car.

Teaching Vacation Bible School all the days I'm not at the hospital this week. I have everything I'll need for the next couple of days loaded in my car. All but the spritz bottle I use for the turtle. I guess I'd better mist him before I go to bed and stick that in the car, too, or I'll forget it in the morning.

Woke up two hours early for no apparent reason and wasn't able to get back to sleep.
Did remember to eat before leaving for work (I often don't), but didn't really have anything to make for lunch so planned to order something delivered.
Went into work.
Key making computer had spent several hours not talking to the main computer. Still wouldn't talk to the main computer about rooms that had been checked in during their spat.
Printer at my terminal in the back office was jammed. Had to keep getting up to go print reports at the front desk. After accidentally trying to print them from my terminal because I apparently had the attention span of lint.
Only had one printer to work off at the front desk because one is out of toner and we can't order any more until Monday.
Ran across the bill that the GM charged to the Administrative & General fund. Wondered briefly if anyone would notice me charging toner to said account. Decided I was too lazy.
Forgot to order something to eat before everything in town closed. See also, attention span of lint. See also, woke up two hours early.
And we still haven't completely figured out WHAT happened this weekend, with the couple, the groom's sister and her husband, that maybe got the key from the desk (Oh, YEAH, HE got SPOKEN to), or maybe got the key from the groom's mother, but ended up sneaking into the bridal suite, drinking the free champagne & eating up the free fruit plate, who then got shirty with me when the family asked me to ask them what they were doing there. Because they were told they could use the bridal suite as a place where their kids could have a nap. Seriously, we have NO idea. Those are just the facts we THINK we know.
Oh, yeah, and the bar exam's this week. Bleagh.
AND THOSE ROTTERS IN CONFERENCE SERVICES STOLE MY PAPERCUTTER!!! AGAIN!

Dan "needs" a new tractor. (He does. He really does. He seriously does. Yeah, if I repeat it enough times, I will convince myself.) And he found one on eBay (don't get me started) that is what he needs. So he went to the bank for a loan, and in the meantime, the tractor sold to someone else. So now it doesn't exist. And the poor lady at the bank had to hear the entire story and everything else because Dan's a nice guy and likes to talk.  So the loan is approved, and the money is there, but the tractor still needs to be found.
End of story. Welcome to my life.
