Origami on Steroids

When my son was little I used to make him little origami animals and trinkets from patterns I found in various books. He never failed to be delighted by them and jokingly called me Origami Mommy.

So when he stumbled on this page of unbelievable examples of the art he made sure to forward it to me.

I hope to be able to close my mouth again sometime soon. I've been sitting here like this since I opened the link.

So you can sympathize with how I feel about looking at stuff on Lynn's site?

I'm afraid to.

Did they need an anvil at any point?

That's just incredible.

OMG! I've posted the hermit crab on the crab board and sent out emails with links to everyone else. Those are just incredible!

My specialty is the paper balloon. I probably shouldn't share with the teachers how they come in handy for in-class volleyball sessions. And you ALWAYS have paper with you.

Start sharing Pippa. It might come in handy at a faculty meeting.

Re Origami on Steroids

That is a neat find. Some of them are made out of a single piece of paper! Remember those bills folded for tips? I thought it was a great accomplishment to fold a dollar bill into the shape of a shirt. And, it was. Sure does make me appreciate these works of paper art. Neat find.

Re Origami on Steroids

I went to a Catholic school. Many of my nefarious plans were environment-specific.
