| | This new "great job" of mine is officially my previous employer!
I'm free and ready to start my life.
Without going into details, this job did not live up to it's potential. It was stressful and just wrong for me. I'm officially between jobs, and while I'm sure I'll be prone to some moments of panic, overall I'm very optimistic and relieved.
So - you may see more of me during the day, and I may not be so stressed out!
But tomorrow we leave for a short weekend vacation. See ya'll on Tuesday! |

| | Let's go with Congratulations.
"in between jobs" is scary, but jobs from hell and dangerous to one's health. I needed to be out of there and now I can have my life back. |

| | Sometimes the best place to be is between jobs. I'm sure it won't be long. Probably not long enough.

| | Hubby was laid off once, when a vocational/GED school he was working at lost funding. It was the best thing that ever happened to him. Since he couldn't get a comparable job because he didn't have his Masters in Teaching yet (was 1/2 way through, going part-time), the Unemployment folks put him in a special program where he got unemployment for a full year while he finished his degree full-time, including the student teaching part. The money wasn't great, sure, but it gave him the chance to work full-time towards what he really wanted to do. I hope you can use the time you get equally to your advantage!

| | It's a scary leap to take, but, I don't think it's possible that it was the wrong choice.
I know when I did that, it was the best decision I ever made. I hope yours is every bit as adventageous to you and your peace of mind. |
