Getting in trouble for NOT blogging?

I've heard of some pretty low things that companies do to try and get out of paying when they should, but this beats all. And I've heard of people getting in trouble for what they DID blog about a person or their employing company. But I've never heard of anyone getting the shaft because they did NOT blog about something!

Our Quiverfull - Sorry for the silence

I've read this lady's blog a few times. They started the blog last year as a sort of general family/homeschool blog, but it quickly became a place to keep friends and family updated about their very, very sick little boy. That's the focus. So, because Mom has NOT blogged about the things she has suffered because of her accident five years ago, they claim that she must not be really suffering?

People can be so messed up sometimes.

Of course, this does serve as a valuable reminder that if you choose to blog, your life is "out there" for the world to see. Be careful. But I don't think most people could have seen this one coming.

Makes me think of a screwed up version of the Miranda Warning.

Well, when you belong to a culture of whiners, it can be very hard to understand people who DON'T engage in the behavior.

(Don't get me wrong, I really do love this country, but for the love of happiness, aren't we all getting just a little too petulant?)
