I did LOL. I was thinking Lamasil was the jock itch commercial from a few years back, but I guess I was wrong (unless I'm right cause I guess they both treat fungus).
Explain to me how someone lets their nails get fungus? I understand with someone so old that they can't cut their own toenails any more. But what is the excuse for anyone else with it? And what's the excuse for nail fungus on your hand? Unless your cateracts are as thick as your nail fungus, you gotta know it's there!
That was my big pet peeve when I had to deal with the public more -- giving back change or dealing with insurance cards. I couldn't hand things to people with nail fungus. I'd always put the money or card or whatever on the counter and slide it toward them, but never let their hands come close to touching mine. Same with warts. I really don't understand how people just let these things go! No amount of my handwashing cured that ooky feeling I'd get afterwards. |

That so does not look like a tree.

| | Re I know how much you all love the Lamisil commercials... | | Um, nail fungus is actually pretty common if you have your nails done. Water can get between the acrylic and your real nail.
Also, warts aren't something you get rid of easily and it's not like you get them because you are dirty. Some people are just prone to them. For Pete's sake, BEANIE had them one summer... took us MONTHS of treatment and visits to the doctor to deal with them. |

| | Re I know how much you all love the Lamisil commercials... | | that green stuff that you get when water grows between your nail and the acrylic is actually mold - not fungus. Looks icky and isn't good for your nail, but not as dangerous as fungus and doesn't require a prescription. |

| | Re I know how much you all love the Lamisil commercials... | | No... you can also get fungus that way... not the green stuff. My mom had it bad and that's when she finally had her acrylics removed for good. Of course, had she listened to me about using tea tree oil, she might not have had the problems.... |
