Cindy, I am not mayed to see you not cuss this no play of winter weather. This is one of the few times I'm happy for no stance between us. May the weather not appear before you find no ease among no ciples of your household. And please feel nary a gust when you look out the window and see no fayntin shneg.

I am grateful that the heat and humdity have left. I thought I would be so excited at school. But the heating system went down, and today was the first day I got heat back in 1.5 weeks. When our building is hot, it's hot. But when it is cold, it is frigid. WE've been wearing coats in class for a week.

It rained til like 2 where I was, but it was not cold. I think it was in the 50s today. |

We had flurries today. It didn't stick, but it was definintely the S---word.
Only a schlemazel would want a bissel schneg, personally I don't need the tzuris. But, a mensh tracht und Gott lacht. Oy vey. |

Hail. We had HAIL. While I was waiting for a bus.
Other than that, though, the weather's been lovely. It's nice to have an excuse to wear the pretty winter hat that Bridgette made me.

ACK! Not wind and snow and hail!!!!! We've had none of that yet, and I'll have none if it before December 1, TYVM.
I'm still covering my roses every night. I was reading online what to do for them, and it sounds like they are okay being covered only until it starts to freeze all the time. I haven't had such needy plants before...everything else is just sort of "leave me alone until spring and we'll see if I survive" stuff.

That's yesterday in Batavia, in the southtowns snowbelt near Buffalo. (Every time that area gets snow, and it gets a lot of lake-effect snow, the tv news accross the country annouce "Buffalo's got snow again!"  )

50s until Friday then snow. I don't think it will be around to stay though. It has been quite a pleasant fall for us. I won't complain.
