Candyman. I freaked out probably about 10 minutes before the end and made my boyfriend turn it off. I couldn't take another second of it.

I saw Jaws when I was five. That was super traumatic. I had nightmares for most of my childhood revolving around sharks trying to eat my mother and I.
I haven't found a movie that scared me as an adult. Some are gross. I don't like watching some gross movies. But none make the hair on the back of my neck stand up or get my blood pulsing.
I saw Mist last night. I was hopeful that it would scare me. The only thing that scared me during the movie is that New Yorkers talk to the movie screens.
Oh yeah.. the Chucky movies. When I was babysitting, I'd make my aunt take my cousin's Teddy Ruxpin with them in the car so it wasn't in the house. Still don't like talking dolls.

Chucky was kind of cute. My cousin and I had the Chucky dolls when we were "kids." I think I was 10ish, so I was enjoying it for the creep factor rather than the "oh look, a talking dolly" factor.
I'll be your friend til the end!
I liked Childsplay a lot as a kid. And Poltergeist, the Exorcist, Amityville, all those movies from the 80s.
I'd like to watch Amityville as an adult. I'd like to know if it still is a bit scary or not. It was my favorite movie as a tween.
Chucky freaks me too. Not as much as Candyman, but still.

Well, this was a mini-series, but Jeremy has it on DVD: Stephen King's Storm of the Century. And y'all know how much I love SK...but I just can't take that movie. The ending beyond creeps me out.
Pet Sematary I watched through my fingers. But I'd already read the book (read a page, scream "I'm too scared", put down book for about 3 minutes, can't stand the suspense. Rinse, repeat.) and knew what was coming.

But there never actually was anything. I kept thinking "omg, I'm going to be scared soon" and then there would be a bundle of sticks or something silly.
I thought Blair Witch had some great marketing to make anyone see it. Although, that movie could be responsible for the fact that I HATE rooms painted red and why I always think of death when I'm in one.
