No, no, no - you wouldn't do that to someone who hasn't even finished unpacking yet, would you? |

I'll second that about prepacked boxes, lol. |

| | Re Box of Crap - the EA version | | Don't feel bad. I have boxes in my basement that my husband's mother packed. She's been dead for 30 years. I did open them and look inside.

| | Re Box of Crap - the EA version | | I have a garage full of my ex husband's stuff. I'm thinking this will be an interesting BOC to compile. How much would it cost to ship a garage-sized box, do you think?

| | Re Box of Crap - the EA version | | It might be cheaper (and more fun) to rent a UHaul and deliver it yourself.

| | Re Box of Crap - the EA version | | So I was working on my decluttering project with my son the other night. He held items up for evaluations and ask me what I wanted to do with them. I asked him to set several of them aside to be "given away."
Finally he said, "do you know who you plan to give this crap to."
And I said, "yes, as a matter of fact I do."
"Who?'
"Oh, someone I know from online." "Does she really want this stuff."
"I don't know."
"What do you mean you don't know?'
"I don't know."
"You don't know if she wants it, but you're setting the stuff aside for her."
"Yep."
"Did you ask her if she wants it?"
"No."
"Then why would you assume she wants it?'
"That's irrelevant. This is her crap." "Is she picking it up?"
"No. I'm going to mail it to her." "You're going to mail it to her and you don't even know if she wants it."
"Uh huh."
"Why don't you just sell it? Or throw it out."
"I can't! This is crap!"
Men. They just don't get it.
Actually, that's not true. Chip walked in on the conversation and said, "oh, is this for EA?"
"Yes!"
"Don't mind her. She's putting together a box of crap.
So, who are we crapping?"
"Margaret."
"Cool. Do we get to deliver this crap in person?"
The I reminded him that she lives near a flea market he hates (he hates all flea markets because I have to look at every bit of crap there and drag him along with me).
"Oh. Mail it. I don't care how much it costs."

| Ok, I live next to that one, but I also live about 30 minutes away from one in NY too Maybe you should do a flea market day and come deliver it.
I'm not sure what I got myself into. It can't be that bad if it can fit in a box. Unless, it's a washing machine box... oh no... I'm going to be so embarassed if I have to open my crap outside, in the freezing cold, and bring it in little by little because my crap box is too heavy for me to lift over the threshold! |

| | Re Box of Crap - the EA version | | Um... I hope you are not sending me anything of the furry variety in that crate. I am not able to take care of myself let alone anything furry that might wake me up in the middle of the night to go potty. Not to mention, I can FINALLY wear black clothes without having people ask me what sort of pets I have... no thank you. No pets. No way. |
