Tomorrow: Variably cloudy with light snow flurries possible. High 33F. Winds NW at 20 to 30 mph.

| | Re I don't want to go to work tomorrow | | I don't want to either. The roads are so icy. I just passed a terrible accident on my way home. I tried to brake so that I was travelling slowly past all of the emergency personel. This made me slide and fishtale around. Ugh. Luckily, for the second time in my travels tonight, I did not have any real trouble (the first time was a near miss when deer jumped out in front of my car on a windy mountainy road). I don't want to go back out in it tomorrow morning. I hope this bad accident will make them think about using SALT on the roads, but, I don't think my state believes in it. |

| | Re I don't want to go to work tomorrow | | We were supposed to get a huge storm, but the snow just stopped without accumulating much. And tomorrow's high will be 25, but the low will be 14 and then it will stay around that for a few days. Bleah. |

| | Re I don't want to go to work tomorrow | | Oh Margaret! How Scary! The good thing here is that they seem really good about salting. The plow came around early today and I was surprised because there wasn't any accumulation on the roads, but they were salting. That makes me feel reassured! I love the deer, but I keep hoping I won't see any in the streets! |

Hopefully the weather will be better and my chances for problems will be slimmer tomorrow I hope the same for all of you with bad weather too. |

| | Re I don't want to go to work tomorrow | | Sandy, we are this weird island in the middle of this last storm. To the north, east and west they got some of the heaviest snowfall they've had in years, and although it started out just dumping snow last night, I was still up watching as it seemed to stop almost instantly, like someone turned off the snow switch. Weird weather pattern- not that I'm complaining. |

I don't want to go to work either. Have to get the babester up really early again. Still working with only 1 car, which will hopefully be resolved tomorrow.

This part of the year I love to hate. You get so many paid days off (if you are lucky) in a short amount of time, they such a LONG dry spell!
I feel the same!

Weather prediction (sunny, high 50, low 16.) That's really cold for here, and it's coldest in the morning, but I'm still looking forward to it.
But wormie, I can understand why you would be shivering a little bit.... |

On the 31st we got an email stating basically that the powers that be have decided that EVERYONE has to be there between 7 am and 9 am and cannot leave before 4 pm. So we've gone from-come in make sure your work is done and leave, to -well this. Yes, because busting A** at corporate will really fix the problems created in the field-um NOT but hey keep trying.
not that it affects me greatly-I'm usually there 7:30 a to about 4 PM it's being told I HAVE to that rankles me.

It was 3 with -3 below 0 windchills today. Getting out of a warm, comfy bed to be hit with that arctic air was a not a welcome that I wanted!
As far as what to do, relax, do not do anything! Start the NY with relaxation!
