Now's Your Chance MJ, Cindy, Etc - Blog Redesign

So over the next week or so, in my spare time (HAH!) I will be doing some overhauling of the blog. If you have an issue that happens (other than using IE6 or less) that you want me to know about and try to fix, this is the place to tell me. I design for FireFox, Safari, Camino, Flock, Opera and do my best to make it IE7 compatible, though that is largely in Microsoft's hands and not mine.

By issue I mean - does it have a long load time? does it look off center on your monitor? do the colors seem true? is anyone struggling to read the text? that kind of thing.

I'm thinking of making a high contrast style page available as a link for people with eyesight issues, but that is a PITA to code in, so it may happen last, after I design the rest of the page. I'm also thinking of adding a widget that will read the entries to you, but first I have to make there aren't any page lag issues.

No real reason for the overhaul beyond being tired of my current header and such and wanting to play with my new toy, CSSEdit for Mac.

That lets me out. Maybe if NY State's Intranet ever becomes compatable with IE7 I'll be able to upgrade, but I'll be IE6 until then. I think the IE6 issue was only with one of your add-ons on the right column anyway. (and before everyone starts telling me to use another browser, thanks, but I don't like switching back and forth between browsers all day but thanks for the advice anyway.) Have fun playing with the blog!

As far as I can remember, font size and everything are great. I LOVE that you don't make me use captcha- I really have to have an opinion about something before I'll waste my time going through three or four rounds of 'let's see if Cindy's brain can interpret these squiggles' only to have it fail again. I think that the only online thing I hate more than captcha is flash everything. I hate that too - and your blog didn't have any of that going, either.

Takes about 8 seconds to load here. Seems like a long time to me, but I don't know if you're happy with that or not. I have 5mb internet.

How about content? Can we make suggestions about content? I think a daily guest-post from an Obama Mama to counteract the Ron Paul campaigning might be a nice change.

I agreed with Wired, but I find that I'm wearing my shirt more often hoping that people ask me about it.
