I just had breakfast with Judy and I enjoyed it so much!
They served us too fast, though (yes, there is such a thing when you're really just trying to rent a quiet corner of the world away in which to chant), and we felt bad about tying up the table... so we went to the Atlanta Bread Company, drank more coffee and talked until our mommy-wife pumpkins pulled up and we headed back to our parts of the world in what is known in these parts as "the 'Dena."
I can't believe that we live in the same town and only occasionally bump into each other. But we both lead busy lives in separate spheres... she, all boys... me, all girls... she, night shift... me, day shift... she, homeschool... me, public school... she Catholic church.. me, Catholic-light. Quite frankly, with all that we have in common as human beings, it's funny how different our days run!
Judy! I really enjoyed our two hours... my treat next time... and let's do it soon!

What fun...the closest I came to that here in Arkansas was when jnbmoore came down to visit her in-laws, who retired about 40 miles away from us. We met in a McDonald's and her little girl, who was about 3 at the time, played in the playground...
I know that Bridgette still writes on Epinions, but she hasn't been to EA in a long time.
We also had an Arkansas Yahoo group, started by hawgwyld. AdaDavis was in it, and bluehawq, and several others. We never did get together, though, and none of them lived any closer than 60 miles from here. |

Gads, you'd think Sara and I trip over each other all the time, but we seem to only get together for very special occasions or at the airport, headed somewhere else!

That's cool. I love making online friends into RL friends. I'm still cracking up that Pippa and I are in daily contact, live 6 hours apart and yet must travel 3600 miles to meet. |
