Helen and I are just fixing to go to the Glass Pavilion at the Toledo Art Museum. I've been wanting to go for a while now, and today is the perfect day - not warm enough to garden, but not too snowy to go for a drive. I am outa here!  |

Sounds fun, have a blast!
Same old, same old here. Church this a.m., then I have got to get some laundry and house cleaning done. I sold a lot yesterday, so I'm going to need to get some things made up for a Mother's Day show in May. Will do that as laundry is going.

We've been working on my bathroom. The walls are done. The ceiling needs to be retouched. That may happen late tonight. I don't know when my vanity is going to get repainted, but I'm afraid to do that without Kevin. I will, however, go pick out new hardware for it today!
I'm also going to make Irish stew. Does anyone know if I can substitute Corona for Guinness. Yes, I do know the difference between the two, but I have Corona and Bud Light (yech) in the fridge, and no Guiness, and it's Sunday, so there is no hope of me getting Guiness for it...
Other than that, I have a ton of laundry. |

Grocery shopping, cooking dinner, making up a test for the 7th grade, and starting a new crochet project.
That seems a bit ambitious, but those are the plans!!!

If you MUST substitute, the bud is better than the corona for that dish - corona has a very distinct flavor that doesn't go well with that flavor set. |

Today I am avoiding negative people (past couple of days I have been an asshole magnet), writing, hoping it hits at least 40 so I can walk outside in the sunshine. I already ran errands (Walgreens, Starbucks, gas in car, etc) and I already upgraded all blogs to WP 2.5 last night and now am doing other server maintenance as well. I finally worked up the energy and motivation to hit the gym for the first time in a couple of months. Now, I'm slowly working up the energy and motivation to do a couple of grad school lectures online.... BUT... I might watch some Friends episodes on DVD that the Easter Bunny brought me first.

Just realized I have a potluck to go to tomorrow night. Oy!!! Add preparing stuffed shells and garlic bread to the list of things I'm working on today.
Oh, and add going back to home depot to buy more hinges (why did I think each cabinet door had one hinge?) and putting together my new fireplace set thingy, and looking for the last store on earth still carrying duraflame. I'm ready to see a fire in my place, and I better do it while I have the courage! |

I'm in Buffalo at my best friend's house. I got here Friday and went to a Sabres game, then yesterday we went bowling with her three kids, then today her corgi attacked and woke me up (I now prefer cats licking hair to dogs licking face as alarm clocks) and we saw Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. And she is apologizing for being so "boring."

Church, then the local fruit market, then get some grades into my online gradebook (report card grades are due on Tuesday), then to Kohl's where I found the exact color I've been looking for in a bed ensemble, now back here trying to finish up the grades. I suppose I should also be working on what we'll be doing all next week in my classes. |

I remember we would hurry home from church in the evening to watch whatever Disney movie was on! Good memories.

Twenty seven loads of laundry later.....
I got most of my stuff put away from yesterday, worked on a bracelet and watched The Butterfly Effect. Dinner is done and waiting for the boys to show up...I still need to fold whites, Angie, so we are even.

Back home, tired and happy. We nearly made it all the way to the museum before running accross an outlet mall. But, since I am getting smaller, I could justify buying a cute new shirt, and some really adorable shoes. With girl-heels, and everything.
The mueseum was great although we didn't have nearly enough time to spend. However, it is an easy drive and I'm sure it's going to be something I do fairly regularly from now on. It was worth the trip just for the absolutely stunnning Lalique glass cabinet he designed to display his vases- OMG, to die for! |

slept late, watched Sponge Bob, bought two pairs of slacks (one pair of Olive khakis fit great, but it was the last pair. I thought it was on sale for $21.99, but it rang up as clearance for $2.99!!!) Watched No Country for Old Men. Talked on the phone. Packed for my big trip this week that has me cranky because I don't want to go. Now we're getting ready for dinner even though its too late for dinner. |
